为系统展示中国活动火山监测与研究30年取得的进展与成果，增强中国活动火山研究的国际影响力，由中国地震局地质研究所许建东研究员、魏海泉研究员、英国剑桥大学Clive Oppenheimer教授、伦敦大学伯克贝克学院James O. S. Hammond教授共同编辑的“中国活动火山”（Active Volcanoes of China）专辑，在伦敦地质学会（Geological Society of London, Special Publications）出版发行。该专辑包含19篇科研论文，内容涵盖了中国主要火山（群）的火山地质、岩石地球化学、深部结构、火山监测、灾害预测、应急对策等多个领域。该专辑将在国际社会全面展示中国活动火山监测与研究的科研成果与研究现状，有效提升中国活动火山研究的国际影响力，并为未来的火山国际合作交流起到积极的促进作用。
